Selected projects

• Swing State Election Analysis (Spring 2026, with S. Goodell and W. Creager). We studied electoral volatility across 250 counties in Pennsylvania, Michigan and North Carolina. Testing transfer to a held-out state exposed poor generalization; the full analysis is available on the project site.
• Reddit outreach platform (February 2026). I assembled and led a team building community discovery, post drafting and reception previews using simulated commenters. We placed first among 30+ teams at CU Boulder's DaSSA Data Science Hackathon, and sponsor LexTrack AI invited us to continue working on the rollout.
• Bandy: digital literacy and broadband access (September–November 2025). Our county-level analysis led us to Park County, where 12 resident interviews overturned our initial assumptions and redirected the project toward a digital-literacy chatbot. Second place in the Broadband Equity Challenge: Connecting America.
• Parcel-locker placement (May 2025). Geospatial modeling with XGBoost for choosing parcel-locker locations. Second place among 180 teams at the Mastercard Business & Data Hackathon in Warsaw.
